My Life Right Now!

Okay, so this is my life right now, in pictures... Notice that Dusty or I niether one are in any of these pictures, because we are probably cleaning, cooking, or loving on one of our babies (or, be honest, working!) We are so busy, but so blessed! We love our lives and our time together at this house... it's never enough time, but we'll take what we can get!
My life is just husband, boys and flowers right now... what else could anyone what? Blake in his full Aggie football uniform. We could probably use him on the team...
Handsome lady-killers ready for a friend's wedding, where they were the ringbearers!

How could anyone be unhappy if you have THIS face to look at?

Blake helping water my flowers!

Seriously, why hasn't J.Crew or GapKids called him to model yet? Look at that face!

My live in a nutshell... flowers, a fine garden antique, and a little boy's baseball cap. (NOTE: I didn't stage that picture, that is how I found the poor frog.)

LIVE magazine article!

I was asked to do some flower arrangements for LIVE magazine... There is a little two page article in this months' holiday issue. I am so happy with the way it turned out. Veronica did an excellent job taking pictures, and the layout was awesome. These are some of the arrangements I did for them!
There are some interesting holiday decorating tips from me, plus other fun stuff in the magazine like: cookie recipes, winter gardening, etc...
Go pick up a copy of LIVE today!!

Thanks to Rachael Hall and the team at LIVE... thanks for the opportunity. It was really fun and ya'll really made me look like I know what I'm doing!

More to come tomorrow!

I'm Baaaaaacccckkkkk!

For the few of you who actually check my blog.... I'm back! Sorry it has been so long since I posted last. I will try to be better, I promise. I just got done with a family friend's wedding this last saturday (congrats Nathan and Paige), so I finally feel like I am able to do something besides make flowers!
I thought it would be fun to show you my entry way. I don't think I have posted this one yet. I tried to make it spooky and fun for my boys, but also a little cool for mom! (Dad could care less!)
Rubber spiders and tons of black feathers everywhere!

I love urns and pumpkins. I picked up that little black house at a thrift store here in Brenham. I thought it looked like a mini haunted house.

Hope to post again soon! Have a great day!

The Robinson Five

Sorry for the quality of this picture... I had to rotate it so that you would not think we were standing on our heads.
This was us after church a few Sundays ago. We are getting together a letter to send everyone that helped with the adoption, and wanted to enclose a photo. Well, the only time we ever look that cute is for church. So, here I am with all my boys. (You can't tell, but I am wearing a dress!)
Have a great day!

New Management Team

Here is a picture of my new manager. The two older managers have moved on to new positions at St. Pauls' Christian Day School.
Isn't this typical? This is what he does while I work!

For Sale!

This is a great pair of concave glass pictures... old victorian colors... not sure about when they were made... we had $42 on them at the store. We are now asking $25 for the pair.
Let me know if you are interested!

This is a great old kitchen cabinet/pie safe that I have had for probably 7 or 8 years... It's got all the original hardware and old chicken wire in the top screen doors. The inside shelves are the same beadboard as the two bottom doors.
It would make a great t.v. armoir for a flat screen, or a great free standing pantry. The bottom two doors have a little trouble shutting. I think they just need to be sanded and waxed well... I can close it if I really try.
I am asking $275. If you are interested, please email or call me:
